Tip: How to turn your smartphone into a remote control for the Meeting Room

If you have your own personal Meeting Room, or administrate Team Meeting Rooms, this is how you can simply turn your smartphone into a remote control for those.

The first part applies to iPhones, the second part to Android phones.

iOS:

1. Open the browser on your iPhone, and go to the URL of the Room you want to manage. Click on the circled icon at the bottom of the page:

2. Click on 'add to home screen', and change the name to 'My Room' (or similar)

You now have your own remote control for your room, where you can mute/unmute participants, lock/unlock room, disconnect, and add participants both from the directory and external SIP/H.323 URIs:

Clicking on the '#' key on the front page lets you easily switch between the rooms you have access to control.

Android:

1. Open the browser on your Android phone, and go to the URL of the Room you want to manage. Click on the settings icon at the top-right corner of the browser, touch the "add to home screen" button:
